Kamiah High School’s science research students and their teacher, Janna Privette traveled to Couer D’Alene Friday to compete at the North Idaho Science and Engineering Fair in Coeur d’Alene. More than 80 students representing Regions 1 and 2 presented their findings at the Fair. The fair offers students the opportunity to meet and learn with other motivated students in their region. Representative teams from each region are selected to attend and compete in the Intel International Science and Engineering Fair (Intel ISEF) in Arizona. Mya Barger (middle) and Dawson Norman (right) each earned a silver medal in their categories, and Cecily Puckett (left) won ‘Best in Fair,’ earning her an all-expense-paid trip to compete at the International Science and Engineering Fair in Phoenix, AZ! Congratulations to all three contestants, and Mrs. Privette!
