Kamiah Thespians Take the Stage

Kamiah, ID – After the revival of Kamiah High School’s theater program last spring, the “Kamiah Characters” are set to take the stage again.

The play, written by Pat Cook and titled Let’s Hang Him and Read the Will, has a dark but comedic tone. “It’s a soap opera parody dark comedy murder mystery,” says Jody Dow, one of the two drama teachers in charge of the play. “It’s a fairly large cast,” says Dow, adding that about 20 people are involved in the production. “The students have been rehearsing since October. They have worked so hard, and are so excited to present this play to the community.”

There will be showings on January 10th and 12th at the Multi-Purpose Room at Kamiah High School at 6:30 PM.  Prices for tickets will be 5 dollars for adults, and 3 dollars for seniors and children. A third showing may be announced in the days to come.
