Welcome to the Kamiah Middle School home page! As Principal I derive much satisfaction in knowing that all faculty is dedicated to delivering the best possible education to all students. Professionalism and continued educational growth are evident in the delivery of curriculum, and in the overall performance of the children in the classroom. As a school we work diligently to ensure that our students receive the highest quality, well rounded education possible. We believe that all children will learn and master essential skills to become productive in society. We take on this responsibility to foster growth in a safe, creative and positive environment. You are welcome at any time to visit or contact us as we take much satisfaction in hearing from you.

Kamiah Middle School is housed in a new building on the campus of the Kamiah School District. Situated on the Nez Perce Indian Reservation, the school is surrounded by mountains and edged by the Clearwater River, in the heart of beautiful Idaho. Moreover, Kamiah is an important stop on the Lewis and Clark Trail. It was here that the Nimipuu (the modern Nez Perce) saved the explorers from starvation, assuring the success of their expedition. |

KMS is located at the corner of 12th Street and Highway 64, adjacent to the District Office. The school provides a safe environment where students and staff are treated with fairness, respect, and dignity. Students receive support from parents and staff as they are challenged to explore, create, and learn. Technology is a key aspect of our students education, and the school offers up-to-date labs and libraries. Our goal is to help students strive for academic excellence and to create a lifelong love of learning.
