Welcome to Engineering and Information Technology PDF Print E-mail

Welcome to Kamiah High School's Information Technology Department. Our department boasts one of the most robust curriculums in northern Idaho and is at the forefront of educational opportunities in Technology Education. Our department provides opportunities through the Cisco Academy program as well as CompTia training.  We have recently added sold modeling via SolidWorks and Environmental technology.  We strive to prepare an increasing and more diverse group of students to be successful in engineering and engineering technology programs.

Our Mission

The Information Technology Program is an integrating discipline that studies the human-made world and develops technological literacy as part of all students' fundamental education through an activity-based study of past, present, and future technological systems. Our technological society's use of resources and its impact on society is studied, as well.

Technological literacy will be mastered by students participating in Information Technology courses. Students will be able to effectively use technology, assess the impacts of technology on everyday life, and to apply conceptual knowledge in order to solve problems.
